Mrs. Shelby Dilliard,
Assistant Principal

I am blessed to be a part of the Walls Elementary School family serving as the Assistant Principal this school year. I look forward to a wonderful year working as a team to lead each student to reach their full potential.

This year is my ninth year in education in Desoto County Schools. I spent four years as a special education teacher and four years as a teacher’s assistant at Overpark Elementary. I also served as a MET Chair for the special education department for three years.

I grew up in Olive Branch, MS, and graduated from Center Hill High School. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. My husband, Trey, and I live in Byhalia with our two pups, Harlow and Liberty. I can often be found reading a good book on the porch or traveling to new places!
